Responsible for the overall operations of data processing. Responsible for coordinating the activities of the department with other departments in the organization and for working with other departments to modify the data base. Coordinates and directs the work of programmers and systems analysts. Has budget responsibility for data processing; expected to keep abreast of technology and to recommend changes with regard to equipment and software.
